Solution
Exstreamer SoundScape Player at each store receives centrally scheduled playlists from the SoundScape Portal. Marketing updates playlists once; all stores update automatically. Promotional audio inserts at timed intervals between music tracks.
Department Store Zone Audio Control
Challenge
A department store wants different music genres in different departments (menswear, childrenswear, electronics) with local volume control for department managers without IT access.
Solution
Exstreamer 110/120 with IR receiver at each department zone allows department managers to adjust volume with a standard remote control. The Volume Source Control (VSC) wall unit gives a more permanent local control solution with numeric display. Central content is streamed from the corporate server.
Store PA Announcements from Any Phone
Challenge
A supermarket chain needs staff to make store-wide PA announcements from any store telephone without walking to a dedicated PA room.
Solution
BNA IP-EI-4104 EPABX interface connects the store telephone system to the IP PA controller. Staff dial the PA code from any extension, enter their authorization PIN, and speak. The BNA IP-PS-1602 paging station provides the primary control room station for management.
Offline BGM Continuity at Remote Stores
Challenge
A petrol station retail brand has unreliable internet at forecourt locations. The brand needs continuous audio even when the internet link drops.
Solution
Exstreamer Store & Play downloads the weekly playlist during off-peak hours (overnight) to internal Micro SD. During the day it plays locally — continuous branded audio with no dependency on a live internet connection.
